The art of Starting!
Once someone told me “It’s always better to know why and what to do, instead of how to do”. Well, let’s say you have mastered the art of photoshop, but you don’t exactly know what the hell you should with all the skills. Then what, whatever you have learned makes no sense, and yeah eventually sometime in future you may use it! until then? it catches dust. But, Bharat nothing makes sense to me?. Okay, let’s say you want to build a personal website and you don’t know how to, you can either hire someone to get the job done or else you can do it, but if you don’t know how, you just learn and get that job done. This makes sense, now the other way around you know how to build a website, but don’t know what to build then, Congratulations you have successfully learned something which you don’t know what to do with!. That’s exactly what’s wrong with the current education system in India. They teach us how to do but, never what to do!.
Simon Sinek says “Start With Why” Everyone has a WHY. Your WHY is the purpose, cause or belief that inspires you. Why do you do something is what will keep you up doing it. It’s the reason you do will keep you up doing those things, it’s your why that will inspire you. Before starting anything in life ask yourself why are you doing this? why is it so important to learn it?. If you don’t know why you are doing something, then you are the dumbest person in this universe.
If you know why you are doing something, then it’s easy to figure out what to do and how, but if you go the other way around, it’s a train wreck.
Don’t just do anything or learn anything in life because others do it or someone else told you to do so.
If you’re doing what everyone else is doing then, you are doing it wrong!.
Don’t learn how to code or learn a programming language because some shitty person on Quora told you to do. Your time is limited so learn something that you want to, not because someone told you. That’s why most of us fail because we never start with the “WHY”.
“There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth…not going all the way, and not starting.”
Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed it, let me know what do you think about it and don’t forget to like and share and do all those good stuff!.
