I took this while on the way to the hospital.

Sometime during this week, it was just another day I was staring at my my screen doing stuff, listening to music. I heard my phone ringing, It was a call from unknown number, back in my head I was asking God why? Why do unknown people call and trouble me? I got plenty of known people who trouble me, isn’t that enough?.

Anyway, I picked up as any normal human being would and it was from the local health department, saying that I had to get tested for COVID-19. Why? I met one of my friends before lockdown and somehow my friend was a primary contact of a person who has been tested positive.

Well, my friend is doing fine, tested negative and it’s been more than 28 days now. So, nothing to worry about.

It was a precautionary measure and I’m glad that the government is taking steps and tracking down people and asking them to get tested and so as a responsible human and citizen I went ahead and got tested. I’m waiting for my results.

If you ask me how was the experience? well, at first I freaked out a bit and then I told my parents and they were tensed and worried but somehow I managed to calm them but, they were still tensed and worried until I came back home and then I had to calm myself down which wasn’t easy. Well, it’s all done and everything is fine now.

Then I walked down to the Hospital, The roads which I have walked for almost my entire life felt different for the first time, it was an experience walking down the empty roads, it felt good but at the same time weirdly silent.

I reached the hospital, they asked me a bunch of questions and then finally got tested.

The results are yet to come, I have been advised to stay home quarantined for 14 days. The good thing is I’ve shown no symptoms whatsoever, so it’s all good.

I walk a lonely road

Well for the first time in my entire life, I’ve never seen the medical test done for free, for everyone. No matter who you are, you will be treated equally. Government and all the people involved are taking such good care, even people who have been kept in Government quarantine are also taken good care.

The doctors were so kind and they are doing an amazing job. Not just the doctors but everyone who is helping in any way possible. I saw the police at the end and beginning of every road making sure no one is wandering.

I also got calls from the mental health department asking me about obviously, about my mental health and how I was doing and they also said that they would call me every 3 days asking about it. This is something that I didn’t see coming. I’m really glad that the government is taking such good measures and I’m so happy about it.

Me ❤

After all this went down, I still had to attend a meeting and this is how I attended :P
